Why do Dance Exams?

Dance exams are great way for students to improve on their skills and confidence. It also helps students, parents and teachers assess how they are progressing not only in class but on an international scale. 
There are many life lessons and positives that come just from doing a dance exam. Like preparing students for school exams and job interviews or give the students the extra confidence to talk to a large crowd or even produce a high level oral presentation.

It is important for Parents and students to understand that each child progresses at different times and each child is assessed individually prior to sitting an exam. Sometimes we will recommend a child learn a grade for two years, to feel confident with not only the practical side and musicality but also the theory before sitting an exam especially at a major level

The classical ballet program is run separately to our main school open ballet class, which do not sit exams.
